'America's Got Talent' Season 15 Finale: Epic performances by Usher, Ava Max set the mood for an exciting night

The moment we've all been waiting for, the finale for Season 15 of 'America's Got Talent' is here. The winner will get a chance to a chance to headline a show on the Las Vegas Strip and a cash prize of $1,000,000.The finale featured a star-studded line-up of guest artists, including 'The Voice' judge Blake Shelton, Usher, Ryan Tedder, Ava Max, Bishop Briggs and JP Saxe with Julia Michaels. Shelton's appearance on the AGT finale comes as 'The Voice' is preparing to return in October.

After the 1-hour recaps, the finale episode kicked off with a breathtaking performance by Usher. The R&B icon rolled up in a 'Back to the Future' inspired DeLorean and started dancing to a mash of his iconic songs such as 'Caught Up', 'Bad Girl' and more in various designed stage settings such as a street, warehouse and more.

Fans were quick to share their excitement at Usher's opening performance. "Oh, "Yeah"!! Gotta love Usher's opening number! #AGTFinale #AGT" said a fan. One fan wrote, "Usher!!!!  The #AGT #AGTFinale couldn't have started out better." Another added, "Usher kicking it off with a bang #AGT." 



 



 



 

The next celebrity guest performance was from Ryan Tedder of One Republic who sang a duet with AGT finalist Cristina Rae. The pair harmonized beautifully for the Kygo and One Republic song 'Lose Somebody'. Heidi Klum said of Cristina's performance, "I can't stop smiling cause it makes me see what you do best."

One fan said, "I would never have thought about pairing Christina Rae and OneRepublic but MAN did that WORK!!! #AGT #AmericacsGotTalent #AGTFinale." Another fan shared, "I never would have thought to have Cristina and one republic collaborate but I am sure glad they did."

"The way that @RyanTedder (@OneRepublic) and @CristinaRaeSing hit those perfect notes are... #FLAWLESS", wrote a fan.



 



 



 

Their performance was followed by a group performance with all the finalists who sang a soulful 'Lean On Me' by Bill Withers. Next up, Bishop Briggs sang 'River' and her new single 'Higher' to acrobatic acts Bello Sisters, Alan Silva and his brother, Alfredo Silva, who competed with America's Got Talent act Deadly Games.



 

Archie Williams was the next finalist to team up with a special musical celebrity, who sang with his idol, Pastor Marvin Winans. They performed a duet with Winans playing a piano ballad of 'Everything You Touch Is A Song' and a gospel choir providing the backing vocals. Archie also received a special encouraging message from Meghan, Duchess of Sussex who said, "Archie we are proud of you and we are rooting for you and we cant wait to see what you do. Were in your corner."

The next special performance was by young songstress Daneliya Tuleshova who sang with Ava Max to 'Kings & Queens'. After their performance, Max said, "This girl has a killer voice." "Daneliya performing with Ava Max --- awesome!! I almost like this song BETTER than the one Daneliya did last night! SLAYAGE!!" said a fan. Another wrote, "GO @AvaMax ! @RealDaneliya sounds great too. She did great on her other songs, but i do wish she did more siongs like this in her #AGT run." Another fan called the pair "the real queens in this stage."
 



 



 



 

Like a match made in heaven, Broken Roots shared the stage with country star Blake Shelton.
