An Instagram model, Adriana Murrieta Trevino, was mysteriously found dead, a few days after taking a flight to a city in Mexico. The Sun reports that an investigation has been launched. The Jalisco State Prosecutor’s Office stated that it has launched an inquiry into the death of the 29-year-old model after her body was found in a canal in Santa Cruz Del Valle, a neighborhood of Tlajomulco de Zuniga.
On November 1, Adriana was reported missing by concerned family members via social media after flying to Guadalajara, the report says. They described that she was wearing a black tank top and leggings the day she was last seen alive. Adriana’s sister Freya requested for all information related to her search to be taken down after learning the tragic news of her death. She said: “More than anyone, we would have liked to share a different or less painful ending for our loved ones. We ask for a little respect and caution for us. Thank you all for worrying and being aware, we know perfectly what Adriana meant in the lives of many.”

The agency also said that as part of the investigations, which are carried out under the femicide protocol, the security cameras images are analyzed, but it was not indicated where they were located. “So far the agency is in the analysis of videos that were obtained as part of the investigation that was opened around the case.”
