Hellboy actor Ron Perlman slammed Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Tuesday, November 17, suggesting that the Republican deserved to be sexually assaulted in a now-deleted tweet. Perlman appeared to be responding in anger to a report of Graham's alleged election interference in Georgia. The actor tweeted: "I feel like Lindsey Graham is ripe for an a** f******." It was reported on Tuesday, November 17, that Graham, in a conversation with Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger, allegedly asked him if it was possible to invalidate legally cast ballots in the state. "He asked if the ballots could be matched back to the voters," Raffensperger said of Graham. "And then he, I got the sense it implied that then you could throw those out for any, if you look at the counties with the highest frequent error of signatures. So that's the impression that I got," CNN reported.

Graham has termed the allegation as "ridiculous".

The alleged request from Graham came after President Donald Trump was defeated by President-elect Joe Biden in Georgia, a known red state. The state is currently recounting the votes. President Trump and his campaign, ever since Election Day, November 3, have falsely claimed that they won the 2020 presidential elections despite Biden winning 290 electoral votes against Trump's 232. The Republican has also consistently floated claims of voter fraud without providing any evidence.

Actress Alyssa Milano had also reacted to the allegations against the Republican senator on Tuesday, tweeting: "What in the actual fuck, [Lindsey Graham]? You are a disgrace. Georgia secretary of state says Lindsey Graham implied he should try to throw away ballots."

This is not the first time Perlman has taken a shot at the Trump administration or conservatives. The actor, earlier this year, had taken a swipe at the president's alleged "shitho** countries" comment about certain third-world countries and had said: "Americans under Donald Trump have been banned from entering into Europe. Because we are diseased. Yes my friends, in 3 short years this reality show clown has turned us into a Shithole Country." The 'Pinnochio' actor was referring to the European Union banning Americans from entering the region because of the increase in novel coronavirus cases in the United States.

Perlman, last year, had also denounced the Republican Party, calling it the "KKK party." He had said: "Hey Kevin McCarthy! Ted Cruz! Steve Scalise! How dare you suddenly start condemning the Nazi that is Steve King when you’ve been cheering him on for his entire embarrassing career! You are the KKK party. Own it muthafuckas! And one more thing… F***K YOU!" The tweet was later deleted.

The actor, shortly after the Election Day, congratulated Biden for being the projected winner of the 2020 presidential elections, saying: "Congratulations Mr. President elect Joe Biden, Ms. vice president select Kamala Harris. And most of all congratulations to America for returning to sanity."

Perlman's remarks came days after radio personality Howard Stern also took aim at President Trump and his"hillbilly" followers, predicting that the Republican's plan to launch his own television network following his White House stint would fail within a year. "Now they are saying he is going to run his own news network. He thinks running the country is hard. Wait until he has to run a news network. That’ll fail inside of a year like all the other businesses. This is just insanity what’s going on," he said.
