After entertaining us for more than a decade, ABC’s hit sitcom ‘Modern Family’ is only two episodes away from bidding farewell to television. As promised, the creators are introducing some of the least expected twists in the series in order to deliver a satisfying end to our beloved characters.

While the previous episode of ‘Modern Family’ witnessed several crucial moments, what grabbed our attention the most was the new addition to the Tucker-Pritchett household, who will be introduced in the series’ upcoming episode.

The official synopsis for Episode 16 of ‘Modern Family’ Season 11 reads, “Mitchell is having a hard time letting go of his old life and Gloria steps in to help him say goodbye; Haley, Luke and Alex decide to throw a party at the Dunphy house when Claire and Phil leave for a trip; Dylan's mom takes the twins for the night.

The synopsis hints at Mitchell Pritchett (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) and Cameron Tucker (Eric Stonestreet) starting a new life in Missouri, bringing forth a moment that was long-awaited. However, we could tell if Lily is accepting of a new family member only upon watching the next episode.

Meanwhile, the rest of the episode teases more of the Dunphy kids' misadventures as they decide to blow speakers up at their residence in Claire (Julie Bowen) and Phil Dunphy’s (Ty Burrell) absence, while Dylan’s hippie mother watches the twins.

Impatient fans of ‘Modern Family’ are already predicting what could happen in the finale and they clearly aren’t able to keep calm.

One fan on Reddit suggested, “Phil's dream of driving cross-country in an RV comes true and they hit the road before Claire starts her new dream job even though they're still getting used to the idea of no-kids-at-home-omg.”

And another comment read, “Haley, Dylan, Poppy and George move into Cam and Mitch's old house after Haley gets promoted at Nerp and the kids start attending nursery / play groups.”

A few have also noted that Mitchell and Cameron’s new baby will be revealed only in the latter part of the finale. Well, we need to wait a tad bit longer to see if this holds true.

‘Modern Family’ Season 11 Episode 16 airs on Wednesdays on ABC.
