While the rest of the world is willingly or unwillingly treating Aaron Wallace (Nicholas Pinnock) indifferently owing to his alleged criminal past, his significant other is fighting fiercely to prove her husband's innocence. She believes he has been wrongfully convicted for a crime he never committed.

However, Aaron’s incarceration hasn’t been easy for Marie Wallace (Joy Bryant) to deal with, which is further intensified by Jasmine Wallace’s (Tyla Harris) teenage pregnancy. While ‘Brother’s Keeper’ saw the members of the District Attorney office try to drag Marie in the crime which her husband is believed to be involved in, the upcoming episode will throw light on her and Aaron’s marriage, which has dried out over the years.

The official synopsis for Episode 4 of ‘For Life’ reads, “In a unique episode taking us back nine years, Marie struggles in her marriage to Aaron as she deals with the turbulence of Aaron's arrest, trial and incarceration.”

50 Cent’s ‘For Life’,  which until now showcased the struggles of the protagonist within the limits of the prison, will be seen shifting its focus on to yet another important character on the show, whose role has been pivotal in defining the story arc.

Each time Aaron has expressed disappointment in Marie’s choice to date her best friend, the latter defended herself saying she couldn’t have waited her life out for a man who chose trial over the plea deal, which would have reduced his sentence by years.

Episode 5 sees Marie in a different light as it takes us back in time. Through this, we might get to see what exactly went down in Marie’s life after Aaron’s conviction left her all by herself with Jasmine and also, could give a better insight into Aaron’s past, which is yet to be explored.

Meanwhile, with only three episodes under its belt, ‘For Life’ has managed to spark a conversation among viewers who have expressed admiration for the series and the show for giving them characters they can relate to.

A fan wrote on Twitter, "One of the most important shows on television today. Definitely must see TV! #ForLife is history which should NEVER be repeated!!”

‘For Life’ airs on ABC on Tuesdays.
