'A Timeless Christmas': Release date, plot, cast and all you need to know about Hallmark's holiday romance film
If you are eagerly awaiting some of the most cheery and festive films ahead of Christmas season, Hallmark Channel is here to sort you out. The romance-focussed channel has launched its beloved programming event, ‘Countdown to Christmas’ which will feature many holiday-themed films with the template of celebration. Of them is ‘A Timeless Christmas’, a movie based on the novel by award-winning romance author Alexis Stanton.
The film takes the viewer back and forth in time as hinted in its title. From its first appearance, the holiday movie looks promising, as an exuberant movie with an interesting plot. Before we head to watch it, here is what we need to know about the film.

Plot
The official synopsis of the film reads, “Megan Turner (Cahill) is in love with the past. As a tour guide at a beautiful historic mansion, she tells visitors about its original owner, Charles Whitley (Paevey). An inventor and businessman in the early twentieth century, he rose from poverty to wealth only to disappear without a trace. Charles was always intrigued by the future. He just never expected to go there. But when he repairs a mysterious clock, he’s transported to the twenty-first century, with his home overrun by strangers. Charles is determined to find a way back to his own era, especially when he learns about what happened after he left. But as Megan introduces him to the wonders of smartphones, pizza, and modern holiday traditions, they both feel a once-in-a-lifetime connection. Could it be that, somewhere in time, they belong together?”

Erin Cahill as Megan
Erin Cahill embarked on an acting career in 2001 by starring as Jen, the Pink Ranger in the series ‘Power Rangers: Time Force.’ Since then the actress has starred in many television series like ABC’s ‘Red Widow,’ TNT’s ‘Saving Grace,’ and FO’'s ‘Freeride.’Her popular roles arrived with Sony’s animated feature ‘Resident Evil Vendetta’, Activision’s ‘Call of Duty: Black Ops 2’ for X-Box and Playstation. Her other notable credits in television and films include Disney’s ‘Beverly Hills Chihuahua 2,’ ‘Beverly Hills Chihuahua 3: Viva La Fiesta!,’ and Sony’s ‘Boogeyman 3.’
The actress has also featured in Hallmark movies which include ‘Love, Fall & Order’ and ‘Last Vermont Christmas.’
Ryan Paevey as Charles
Californian actor Ryan Paevey kicked off with his acting career in December 2013, playing Detective Nathan West on ABC’s longest-running soap opera 'General Hospital.' This instantly got him fame and recognition. During his time on ‘General Hospital,’ the actor was also featured in several Hallmark Channel Original Movies: ‘Unleashing Mr. Darcy’ (2016) and ‘Harvest Love’ (2017). Ryan appeared in many other Hallmark films like ‘Marrying Mr. Darcy’ on the Hallmark and ‘Hope at Christmas’, ‘Friend to Fiancé’, and ‘A Summer Romance’ to name some.

‘A Timeless Christmas’ is a Lighthouse Pictures production. It has Lincoln Lageson as the executive producer. The other producers associated with the film include Jamie Goehring, Shawn Williamson, and Kevin Leslie. Ron Oliver is at the director’s seat and the scripting of the film is by him and Duane Poole.
