DUBAI, UAE: The 'Real Housewives of Dubai' Season 2 star, Caroline Stanbury, recently revealed that she and her husband, Sergio Carrallo, are planning to have their first child together and have undergone IVF treatment. Caroline reflected on her IVF journey and revealed that they are now looking for a surrogate to carry their child.

In a recent interview with Today, Bravo star revealed, "My doctor thinks that I may be able to carry one more child and I also feel the healthiest I’ve ever been." Caroline and Sergio started the IVF process in 2022 and now have one embryo, which the reality star called a "baby boy on ice."

Caroline suggested to Sergio that they could use an egg donor if another round of IVF were unsuccessful. She explained that Sergio would not consider an egg donor because he "wants our baby to biologically belong to both of us."

Further in the Essay, 'RHODubai' star revealed that they are "looking for a surrogate," adding, "I never thought I’d be in a position where I’m reading how to find another woman to carry my baby, and I’m trying to figure out what that would look like." She reflected on her fear and noted, "What if she wants to live in another country? What if Sergio wants to rub her belly? There are a million questions that [I] don’t have answers to right now."

Caroline Stanbury reflects on the 'difficult decision' of having a baby at 48

Caroline Stanbury, 48, is trying to have a baby with her husband, Sergio Carrallo, whom she married in December 2021. The reality star has reflected on the challenges of having a baby at her age.

She shared with the outlet, "Having a baby now would mean that while Yasmine is going to university, I'm about to go and look at nappies again." Caroline further noted that she ultimately wanted to have a positive impact on others, adding, "The one thing Sergio and I have given everybody is hope. I’m showing women that they can go on and start a whole new life, perhaps literally, at 48."

Caroline Stanbury uses Ozempic to lose weight after fertility treatment

During a 2023 podcast episode, Caroline Stanbury revealed that she used Ozempic after IVF treatments caused her to "blow up." The Bravo star shared that she experienced a "midlife crisis" which led her to decide to lose weight. She used Ozempic for nearly three months to shed the extra pounds.

Caroline revealed, "I think [Ozempic] is one of the best tools if you’re able to use it." Although she called to undergo multiple rounds of IVF treatments the "best decision" of her life, she wanted her sleek body back. She reflected on her decision to use Ozempic and said, "I did it to lose weight from a treatment I had to do, that wasn’t natural for my body, to get me to exactly where I was before."

'RHODubai' Season 2 star Caroline Stanbury shares three children with her ex-husband, Cem Habib. She is a mom to daughter Yasmine, 18, and twins Zack and Aaron, 14. Caroline and Cem, who married in 2004, moved to Dubai after Cem received a job offer in the UAE.

Caroline and Cem announced their separation after 15 years of marriage in December 2019. Caroline then met her now-husband, Sergio Carrallo, during her podcast tour in 2020.
