In an unexpected turn of events, Sergio took to Instagram, posting a video highlighting what he characterized as the "pain" and "suffering" his wife experienced during the facelift surgery.

Sergio captioned the video, "This was probably one of the hardest moments of my life. Seeing the person that you love with all your heart suffering and in pain how she was .. it was tough."
He added, "As a husband, I will always support her and be here for her and as much as I was against it, she really wanted to do it. So, I was there for her, supporting and helping her day to day."
Sergio went on to say, "I am very proud of you and I just see how happy you are with the result, it makes me very happy. You look absolutely beautiful."
Many comments flooded in, expressing disagreement with Sergio's approach.
Some went as far as deeming the surgery and the accompanying pain as "self-inflicting," questioning the necessity of Caroline's choice. A chorus of voices argued that no one had asked her to go to such lengths for a facelift.
