'90 Day Fiance' Season 9: Mohamed calls Yve's friends 'weird' for asking him if he watched porn

For the couples on '90 Day Fiance', it looks like the rose-coloured glasses are finally coming off, the deeper they get into the 90-day process. And with the clock ticking on their relationships, no issue is going unnoticed. And, Yve and Mohamed have not had the easiest time since his arrival in the USA.

Mohamed, who has always had his mother at his beck and call, seems to be struggling to live without her and expects Yve to be the one to mother him instead. But that isn't the only issue, as disagreements over religion are proving to be a problem as well.

For Mohamed, who is Muslim, he expects Yve to respect the rules of his religion, seeing that he believes they apply to her as well. While Yve is focusing on their relationship, abiding by the rules of Islam isn't something she wants to do, seeing that she herself isn't Muslim. 

As the two set out to meet Yve's friends, she was worried that they would test Mohamed to find out his intentions. However, right off the bat, Mohamed found them 'weird' and thought that they were testing him because he was Muslim. He noted that the deliberately wore revealing clothes, stating that he didn't want to see that anyway. 

The grilling by Yve's friends got uncomfortable as they began asking intimate questions about his personal life, including if Mohamed had watched porn. Mohamed stated in his confessionals that this kind of conversation didn't happen back in Egpyt and this was highly inappropriate. The situation only got worse when he called out Yve's friends for judging him and they argued that he was doing the same. Fans, however, were on Mohamed's side -- even though he was reinforcing his rules, they believed that Yve's friends were out of line.

"I feel bad whenever they show us the “friends” of people who are already unhinged, but then we see your friend group is actually not lifting you up or supporting you— but instead drive your spouse insane- no wonder you can’t get esteem you hang out with bullies" added another. "I’m more impressed Yve is not saying anything about this kind of questions… If this was reversed, bunch of old man asking if the young girl was virgin and knew what to do…. #90DayFiance" added another. "So she’s presenting their problems to her friends and letting them disrespect him? They should appear as a united front in public #90dayfiance" said another.
