'90 Day Fiancé': After 7 years of chatting online and spending more than $100K, will David finally meet Lana?
When the latest season of '90 Day Fiancé: Before The 90 Days' aired, fans were surprised to hear David Murphy's story. They were convinced that he was being catfished by someone in Ukraine but it seemed like David was stuck on the idea that he has found the love of his life in Lana.
He made up his mind to go to Ukraine and meet Lana despite knowing that his last three attempts had failed. The first time around, Lana did not show up but David did not lose hope. The second time, he was told that she got into an accident while the third time she said there was a death in the family.
Despite hearing these excuses, David had made up his mind to meet her. Fans were also surprised when they found out that the pair had been speaking to each other for seven years and David had spent nearly 100 thousand dollars to stay in touch with her. David had revealed he met Lana on a dating site where one has to pay every time they want to chat.
He further revealed that he has seen Lana once on video call but could not hear her voice. Regardless of this, he flew down to Ukraine and as fans had expected, there was no sign of Lana. However, this time around, David made up his mind to meet Lana before heading back to the US. He revealed that it was now or never and if this meeting also ended with disappointment, he would forget Lana forever.
He decided to go down to the place where he assumed she lived. While he knew the name of the city, he did not know the exact location of where Lana was. After several failed attempts, David got a message from Lana that said she was willing to meet him and start the visa process to fly down to the US.
David was pleased to hear this and the pair decided to meet at a restaurant. He confessed he was excited to finally meet the person he had been talking to for seven years but was worried if it would turn out to be a disappointment. Do you think Lana will finally show up?
