Mom who dressed 9-year-old daughter in Playboy outfit and restrained her as 'friends' raped child for cash jailed
A mother has been awarded ten years sentence for letting men rape her nine-year-old old daughter while dressing her up in Playboy outfit. The minor victim, who is now 15, was repeatedly sexually abused by her mother’s “friends” at her Gold Coast home in Australia for around a year between May 2014 and May 2015. Every other day, the girl reportedly used to wake up with men on top of her while wearing bunny ears and a black lace dress 'Playboy' costume.
On Tuesday, August 18, the mother whose name has not been revealed due to legal reasons was jailed for ten years. She has also been declared a serious violent offender and has to remain behind bars for 80 percent of her sentence before being eligible for parole. Out of her time period in jail, she has already spent 20 months in custody. “Your conduct was enabling or aiding others to commit sexual acts on the complainant. This is extremely serious offending and ... I am not particularly convinced of prospects of rehabilitation,” Judge David Kent told the mother while sentencing her.
Earlier, in March, she was found guilty of five sexual assault charges. But she did not accept them and yelled “it's so wrong” and “this didn't even happen”.
According to reports, the youngster was just nine-year-old when the sexual abuse began. She was raped by different men every time. However, the girl eventually wrote about her horrific experience in a handwritten note to her psychologist which said: “(Mum used to) come in with friends and touch me improperly". The psychologist then contacted the police and an investigation was launched.
The victim opened up before investigators and shared her terrifying days telling her mother would “undress her and be naughty”. The girl described wearing a "Playboy outfit" and said her mother gave her a drink that made her feel dozy. She also said that once her mother restrained her hands while she was being sexually abused and asked for money from the men after they raped her.
It has been reported that during the case trial, the girl was at a Brisbane hospital on suicide watch. While no men have been charged with rape. Reports also claimed that the youngster’s father was in jail at the time sexual abuse took place. The man had earlier told the court that his daughter’s mental health was suffering and she was on suicide watch. “I have to put up with a child who has tried to kill herself three times. If you think this is some kind of con job, I'm the one for paying the joke. If I made some story up then the joke is on me,” the father added.
In another incident, a Missouri woman was charged for reportedly allowing two men to rape her two-year-old daughter repeatedly. Due to the sexual abuse, the child contracted a sexually transmitted disease (STD). Azzie Watson was charged with child abuse and endangerment while her bond was set at $75,000.
According to court documents, the 25-year-old mother’s boyfriend, Charles D. Green, made a recording of her talking about taking her elder child to the same house where she was raped by two men five times. In the recording, she was heard saying that she had watched the men rape the toddler repeatedly and that she called herself a "coward" after.
