Electronic duo 3OH!3 is set to make a comeback this year after four years of musical silence.

Taking to their social media 3OH!3 made the announcement, writing, "NEW. MUSIC. SOON." in the caption with an epic trailer for their comeback. The trailer features a throwback at their past success and crowded concerts, with clips from their famous hits like 'DONTTRUSTME', 'STARSTRUKK', featuring Katy Perry, and their collab with Kesha 'My First Kiss', as well as a teaser to new music. Check out the new trailer for 3OH!3 below.

After their latest album release 'Night Sports', which released back in 2016 and featured songs like 'Mad at You' and 'Clastraphobia', it goes without saying that 3OH!3 announcing a return to music is massive for fans. While the wait has been long, the duo, consisting of Sean Foreman and Nat Motte used the time away to reflect on their careers over the years. According to a statement shared by Alternative Press, Motte said, "We’ve been a lot of places since we started making music together in a University of Colorado dorm room in 2003." He added, "We’ve had the good fortune to tour all over the country and all over the world, partying with wonderful people all along the way. Our music has always been about having fun, welcoming people in, bringing the energy and pushing some sort of boundary."

Motte then explained that it was time to return to their roots and deliver more 3OH!3-centered material over working on other artists' music, saying, "After having worked on a lot of other peoples’ music in the recent years, we wanted to come back to our own music as 3OH!3 and rekindle that energy." He noted, "We channeled that in the best way we could, and we wanted to find things in life to celebrate, to make music to dance to, to cry to, and to laugh to. I can tell you one thing for certain – we had a whole lot of fun making these new songs, and if it brings anyone else an ounce of that joy, we can rest easy."

Fans are feeling the hype and in a frenzy over the announcement. "THANK GOD THIS YEAR IS IMPROVING," wrote a fan in all caps while another said, "Well...at least 2020 gave us good news..Its refreshing lol super excited!!!" "Guys, you’ll make me the happiest girl in this world what F**KING great news!" said a fan. One fan wrote, "Now that the election is over, 3OH!3 is coming back to throw down some party tracks. Let's go!" Another fan added, "This. Is. EVERYTHING."
