Two men break into abandoned Houston home to smoke weed but get shocked on seeing a 1000-lb tiger in there
Officials stated that he was well fed and in good shape but badly housed. It was found in a pretty small cage inside a garage in a house.
Two people who broke into an abandoned home in southeast Houston so they could smoke some weed were in for a shock of a lifetime: lying in wait inside were not cops waiting to bust them, but a large tiger in a cage. At first, they put it down to the effects of being high and hallucinating and soon they found out that they were actually staring the beast in the face.
According to KHOU-TV, the two people immediately dialed 311 for help after coming across the 1000 pound big cat at the house in the 9400 block of East Avenue J. 311 officials transferred the call to the Houston division of the Bureau of Animal Regulation and Care (BARC), who subsequently got a warrant from the Houston police to search the residence.
