The season premiere episode of '16 and Pregnant' on Tuesday night (October 6) featured 16-year-old Madisen Bieth. She got pregnant shortly after she turned 16 with her school footballer boyfriend Christian and it was clear that the two had a difficult way ahead of them considering they were still very young to have everything figured out. Christian was thrown out by his mother after she learned about the pregnancy and he had to then camp under his brother's roof. Madisen was quite supportive of him and was by his side in everything but at the same time, she wanted him to take up more responsibility. She wanted him to be someone she and their baby could turn to and for that he needed to ensure he got a job and that there was some financial security. However, Christian believed in doing things at his own pace which wasn't feasible enough for Madisen. To top it all, he also seemed emotionally unavailable for her which was the last straw and that was when their relationship ended.

All hope was not lost for Madisen because even though her baby daddy didn't come through for her during the testing time, it was her own father Nick that stood right next to her and reassured her on many occasions that she wasn't alone and that she was going to be a great mother. He didn't throw her out like Christian's mother did her son, after finding about the pregnancy. He didn't speak to his daughter for two days after finding out she was pregnant but that was it. After those two days, he knew that he had to be there for her and that's what he did. He even offered to help Christian out when he was thrown out and even tried to offer help to him in his job hunt. When Christian and Madisen eventually went their separate ways, he was there for his daughter and ensured her that what was important was her happiness and the baby's happiness. He emerged as an out and out hero during the entire episode by being so supportive toward his daughter and he has a newly-formed fan base rooting for him.

"Nick!! Yasss! You are my new favorite parent/grandparent on this show ever! Honest and reliable #16AndPregnant," wrote a fan. "Madisens dad is what every girl deserves in a father. #16AndPregnant," wrote another. "Is Madisen’s dad looking for a wife? Another wife? Because wow #16AndPregnant," wrote another. "After tonight’s 16 and pregnant episode, @madisenbeith can I date your dad?" rea another tweet. "The best dad on #16AndPregnant EVER," read another tweet.
