Boo the Pomeranian, who was dubbed as the “world’s cutest dog” and was social media sensation, passed away at the age of 12 years on Friday due to heart problems.
The news of his death was shared on his official social media accounts, which has a combined following of over 17 million, and it was revealed that his health problems started soon after the death of his best friend Buddy, a fellow canine who died in 2017.
“With deepest sadness I wanted to share that Boo passed away in his sleep early this morning and has left us to join his best friend, Buddy,” the Facebook post announcing Boo’s death read.
