DIXON, KENTUCKY: The preview clip for the Season 5 finale of '1000-lb Sisters' suggested that TLC is poised to address the passing of Caleb Willingham. In the preview, Tammy Slaton is visibly distraught, shedding tears that covey emotional struggle.

Adding to the emotional scene, Slaton is surrounded by her family members, who provide comfort and support as she breaks down. This led fans to speculate that the upcoming finale episode will indeed focus on the passing of Willingham.

However, it is speculated that TLC is hiding the full truth from the viewers. Contrary to the portrayal of a harmonious relationship between Slaton and Willingham on screen, the reality of their marriage appears to be less rosy.

Before his passing, Slaton had already divorced Willingham, a significant detail seemingly omitted in Season 5. A concerned fan confronted the streaming platform, "Sooo are they gonna tell it all during the finale? They made it seem like Tammy and Caleb were in a good place and he just up and died.....but weren't they estranged and about to divorce?"

Caleb Willingham died on June 30, 2023, at the age of 40. The specific cause of his death has not been disclosed. However, it is believed that his excess weight gain may have played a role in his untimely demise.

In Touch Weekly reports, "All indications showed to be a natural death caused by a medical issue." Although the autopsy report was not made public.
