Who is Tony Duarte?

Tony, who always celebrates his birthday in November, is probably in his late 20s. Tony, a native of Costa Rica, was inspired to pursue an active and exciting profession by his early discovery of his love for the great outdoors and adventure sports. He identifies himself as someone who loves to travel and can't stay in one spot for an extended period of time. He also stated that being on 'Below Deck' was one of his "craziest" experiences, adding that he appreciates things that force him outside his comfort zone. In addition, Tony loves to surf, cliff jump, skateboard, and even go fishing. He spends much of his time outside and has built his profession around his passion for the outdoors. His restless and busy lifestyle offered him a significant edge when it came to entering the yachting profession.

Tony has had a fantastic professional life to date, and his work has taken him to many exotic locales throughout the world. Tony, as a travel fanatic, dislikes staying in one place for an extended period of time, and his work history reflects this wonderfully. Tony has worked as a diving master in South Africa and as a whale-watching guide in his homeland of Costa Rica. Furthermore, while in the Bahamas, Tony found work as a zip liner and was convinced that his professional skills would help him flourish as a deckhand. Viewers will be pleased to learn that Tony's first experience on a chartered journey was as a deckhand on the superyacht St David. Nonetheless, Tony appears to have had plenty of sailing expertise from working on smaller boats and was quickly able to become an invaluable crew member.

Tony had a net worth of less than $400 thousand in 2022, according to Gossip Next Door, owing to his work as a deckhand and diving master. Tony was reportedly paid $3500-$4500 per month, including tips as a deckhand.

'Below Deck' Season 10 airs every Monday at 8 p.m. ET on Bravo, with new episodes airing the following day on Peacock.
