Jaxson Hayes is being sued by his ex-girlfriend for physical assault. The New Orleans Pelicans star is being accused of assault and battery by Instagram model Sofia Jamora, who claims he roughed her up on several occasions during their relationship, including the day he got into a brawl with cops.

According to the filing, Jamora claims that the duo started dating in October 2020, and the NBA stud first got violent with her just a few months after on Valentine's Day 2021. The lawsuit accuses him of abusing Jamora in a Dallas hotel room.

Describing the incident, Jamora said that she traveled with Jaxson for his NBA game and they also shared a hotel room; after he returned to the room, Jaxon blew out when she jokingly called him out for not bringing Valentine's Day flowers.

She claims in the court documents that he abused her and hit her with a suitcase that he flung across the room. He further physically restrained her from leaving the room and broke down the bathroom door to snatch her phone out of her hand.

Jamora also revealed that Jaxson apologized for the Valentine's Day incident and swore he would never get physical with her again, but instead more abuse followed as their relationship continued after the incident.

According to the documents, on July 27 last year, Jaxson, his pet dogs, and his cousin were staying at her LA home when he got physical again. The suit reveals that on the day of the abuse, Jaxson was at her home during the day while she was at a photoshoot. Jamora came home later to find her dog seriously injured, blaming the bite wounds on Jaxson's much bigger dogs.

She said Jaxson was "passed out from a drug-induced stupor" when she got back; and while he was asleep she put his dogs in crates. In the docs, Jamora claims that Jaxson eventually woke her up in the middle of the night and the two got into a verbal argument, which escalated wherein Jaxson allegedly threatened to get her raped by his cousin.

In her suit, Jamora claims Jaxson tossed her pup to the ground and also grabbed and shook her, to the point where he was seriously hurting her. Jamora later locked herself in the bathroom, but he broke the door down and roughed her up.

Jamora alleges that Jaxson chased her all around the house and the property, grabbing her multiple times, throwing her around, and dragging her down some stairs. She added that Jackson started breaking anything he could get his hands on in rage.

Eventually, Jamora successfully locked him out of the house, but he broke in through a window. She texted her cousins, pleading them to call the cops. In her suit, Jamora says when the cops finally arrived, Jaxson started interfering with the police investigation, getting into an altercation with officers and which ended up in him getting tased.

Jaxson was arrested that night. He recently entered a no-contest plea for a resisting arrest and false imprisonment charge amid Jamora’s lawsuit for assault, battery, and infliction of emotional distress as she goes after him for damages.
