The rookie girl group Aespa who made it to the top of social media buzz while debuting in November 2020 along with snagging 'Rookie of the Year' Award at Seoul Music Awards has been missing for a while. The new girl group is also absent from SM Entertainment's release schedule for the year 2021 which is making fans question if the K-pop super-rookie group will have any new release this year.

Aespa who debuted with the single 'Black Mamba' released another track this year in February titled ‘Forever’ which is a remake of K-pop star Yoo Young-jin’s hit track from the 'Winter Vacation in SMTOWN'. The track which released on February 5 has garnered 40,580,480 views within three months of release. The girl group consisting of Karina, Giselle, Winter and Ningning also released a performance video for the song later.

When is Aespa coming back?

Aespa whose last single was released in February has been missing from the SM Entertainment schedule. To make matters worse, Aespa fans have pointed out that the girl group still doesn't have a V Live channel, one of the primary apps through which K-pop fans can directly interact with their idols via live streams and more. While the schedule of SM Entertainment gets constantly updated and fans are hoping for Aespa to have an album by the end of this year, SME's lack of promotions for the group has enraged the fans as they took to social media to slam the agency.

Where are Aespa, Red Velvet and Girls' Generation?

Along with Aespa, SM Entertainment's legendary girl groups Red Velvet and Girls' Generation have been missing from a full comeback in a while. A fan said, "WHERE IS AESPA ... MORE LIKE WHERE THE HECK IS RED VELVET AND GIRLS GENERATION ITS BEEN LIKE YEARS!" Another fan added, "Where on earth is sm hiding aespa and red velvet? i miss my girls!" A fan noted, "If this chart is true which it has been so far....where is aespa??? Like it's so weird SM wouldn't add them. It's strange. But also if this is true, #EXO will be announcing soon which is super exciting." A fan summarized the whole ordeal sharing, "Ugh do not rely on NCT and SuperM so much!! EXO needs to come back! We also need women! We need SNSD, RED VELVET, and AESPA’s comeback!! Let the boys rest and bring the girls out of the dungeon!! #WhereIsAespa"
