PALMA DE MALLORCA, SPAIN: Amber Heard recently returned from a trip to Europe with her lover Bianca Butti and daughter Oona Paige. Heard was said to have traveled under the alias Martha Jane Canary, also known as 'Calamity Jane', according to reports.

Heard was last spotted on the Spanish island of Palma de Mallorca, where she was photographed spending some much-needed quality time with her daughter Oona Paige. She used a pseudonym to book her flight without drawing attention to her visit, according to Diario de Mallorca. Heard's choice of the specific name appears to have a deeper meaning. Martha Jane Canary, or Calamity Jane as she is more often known, is a notable woman from the Wild West era, which spanned from the middle of the 1800s to the beginning of the 1900s.

Calamity Jane was a remarkable markswoman and fighter from the era, especially known for fighting Native Americans who resisted the invasion of settlers coming from the eastern region of the former Union.

The settlers asserted their so-called 'Manifest Destiny', which claimed that they were entitled by God to a piece of land wherever they chose to settle and establish Christianity as the only religion. Calamity Jane played a role in this expansion, fighting and killing Native Americans.

Heard most likely chose this name as a direct jab at Johnny Depp, who has frequently stated that his family has Native American lineage and that his great-great-grandmother was Cherokee or Creek Indian. Depp even played a Native American in the film 'The Lone Ranger'.

Heard was seen earlier in August in Tel Aviv visiting Halper's Books, where she bought a book written by the shop's owner. She was in Tel Aviv with her journalist friend Eve Barlow, and despite having just three months prior dealt with her horrific trial, she seemed to keep a positive mindset.

Heard was photographed flaunting her natural beauty while out and about in the city donning a floral red dress. The store's owner shared a photo of the 'Aquaman' actress on Facebook with her wavy hair freely pulled back over her shoulder and a broad smile.

"Say what you want about Amber Heard, (and what little I knew about her was negatively influenced by the media as well), the person who browsed my store last Tuesday for almost an hour, with her toddler baby girl and a couple of friends, was a modest, polite, friendly, inquisitive self-effacing customer with high literary tastes," the owner of Halper's Books wrote along with Heard's image.
