LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Acolyte' Episode 6 aired on Disney + on Tuesday, July 2, 2024. The episode delved into the intricate dynamics of the teacher-pupil relationship.

In the episode, Mae (Amandla Stenberg) finds herself around her twin Osha's teacher Master Sol (Lee Jung-jae). Meanwhile, Osha learned from Mae's teacher Qimir (Manny Jacinto), now known as 'Stranger.'

Following the action-packed Episode 5, Episode 6 delved into deep conversations, exploring the psychologies of Qimir and Master Sol and uncovering what defines them as iconic warriors.

It also hinted at a potential connection involving Master Vernestra (Rebecca Henderson).

The episode left plenty of details for eagle-eyed 'Star Wars' fans and teased future events with cleverly placed easter eggs.

Here's a look at some of the easter eggs that you might have missed.

Master Sol initiates Emergency Code Zero

After Qimir's massacre of the Jedi in Episode 5, Master Sol initiates an Emergency Code Zero, urgently seeking assistance from the Jedi Temple.

Despite the dwindling connection, Master Sol manages to relay the message to Vernestra, who springs into immediate action.

The Emergency Code Zero, originating from Legends and also used in the video game Empire at War, serves as a distress call for immediate assistance.

Corruption in the Jedi Order

Events in 'The Acolyte' unfold a century before 'Star Wars Episode I: The Phantom Menace,' during a period known for corruption within the High Republic. This episode subtly hints at the origins of that corruption.

Master Vernestra hints at senators engaging in corrupt activities to gain power. Future episodes may further explore instances where corruption becomes more prominent.

Qimir's connection with the Jedi

In Episode 5, Qimir revealed that his motive for his actions was to freely exercise power outside the constraints of the Jedi Order. However, in this episode, he discloses a history he shares with the Jedi.

He has a conversation with Osha where he talks about being thrown out by the Jedi Order. This personal history gives him a motive to seek retribution against those who wronged him in the past.

In one scene, a scar on his back suggests it may have been inflicted by a Jedi Master, giving him a personal motive to seek vengeance against Master Sol and the other Jedi.

Vernestra and her lightsaber

Master Vernestra might be the one who stabbed Qimir with a whip (@lucasfilm)

The scar on Qimir's back resembles a whip mark, and later in the episode, Master Vernestra is shown using a lightsaber with a whip-like feature. She cuts an umber moth in half using that lightsaber.

It's possible that Master Vernestra was the Jedi Master who stabbed Qimir in the back forcing him to become the Sith that he has become. It could also be the origin of the Dark Side, given the references to bringing balance by Qimir and later by Vernestra.

Cortosis Helmet

Cortosis was specifically mentioned in this episode, teasing its properties. Qimir explains to Osha how it defends against lightsabers, dampens other senses, and helps the use of the Force.

Osha tries on the helmet, and through a point-of-view shot, we experience what it feels like to wear it. The helmet could become a significant prop in future episodes.
