After seven episodes of torturing us with one new mystery after another, Starz mystery series 'Dublin Murders' has given us the answers to two major questions: Who killed Katy (Amy Macken) and who killed Lexie (Sarah Greene). One more episode remains in the series, and we wonder and pray that it will focus on the relationship between Cassie (Greene) and Rob (Killian Scott).

In the previously aired Episode 7 of the series, we watched Cassie confronting her doppelgänger Lexie's friends and flatmates, one of whom also happened to be her killer. After a long and intense show-down that saw Daniel (Sam Keeley) trying desperately to hold everything together, Justin (Charlie Kelly) confessed to Cassie that he is the one that stabbed Lexie. He also went on to reveal what Cassie had guessed all along — Daniel is holding his friends hostage emotionally and would do anything to keep them around.

After a bit of a tussle, Cassie shoots Daniel even as backup arrives and takes the rest of them away. Despite the win, Cassie is taken aback by everything that happened. She believes that she did not do a great job and even let her guard down, even though Frank (Tom Vaughan-Lawlor) tries to convince her that a win is a win. We also saw her finally listening to Rob's message for her and getting furious with him all over again. Needless to say, Episode 7 was a volatile one for Cassie.

Meanwhile, we see Rob trying to make sense of what happened to him as a child, and reacting violently to every stimulus. He beat up Shane (James Browne) for calling him Adam and as always he gets furious with his mother for calling him Adam as well. It has been getting increasingly difficult to justify or sympathize with his actions, but then again 'Dublin Murders' presents us with two protagonists who have more shades of grey than most other TV shows.

Even though he remembers how his friends mistreated him, it serves no purpose in solving Katy's murder. Eventually, it was some stale biscuits that helped Rob connect the dots back to Damien (Jonny Holden). So finally, we have our two killers, but what about Rob and Cassie's story? Will we get to see the focus directed towards them in Episode 8? Find out when the finale airs on Sunday, December 29, on Starz.
