As the world counts down anxiously for the release of 'Zack Snyder's Justice League', leaks have started circulating. One discussion doing the rounds is about the leaked Knightmare scene that sees a resurrected Clark Kent/Superman (Henry Cavill) take on the rest of the league that Bruce Wayne/Batman (Ben Affleck) assembles. The leak reveals that it was actually a nightmare, and also has a set of new additions that were missing in the 2017 release.

The leaked video, still available to watch on Facebook, sees Cyborg (Ray Fisher), Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello), Mera (Amber Heard) and Flash (Ezra Miller) bracing to fight a Darkseid-controlled Superman. As they gear up to take on the Man of Steel, Cyborg tosses away the cloak that reveals the multiple weapons he intends to use on Superman.

SPECIAL REPORT | 'Justice League: The Snyder Cut' is just what DC desperately needs to regain its lost edge

Flash has armor while Mera with Aquaman's trident gets ready even as Superman's eyes turn red as he plans to unleash his 'heat vision'. The scene also shows Jared Leto sporting a disheveled look as the Joker, laughing maniacally. The 45-second clip dishes out new footage that was absent from the original 2017 release.

The clip also confirms the theory that Joker in the dream is a warning to Bruce about Darkseid's plans. It also confirms Manganiello's extended role in the film. The official synopsis of the film reads: "In Zack Snyder's Justice League, determined to ensure Superman’s ultimate sacrifice was not in vain, Bruce Wayne aligns forces with Diana Prince with plans to recruit a team of metahumans to protect the world from an approaching threat of catastrophic proportions."

"The task proves more difficult than Bruce imagined, as each of the recruits must face the demons of their own pasts to transcend that which has held them back, allowing them to come together, finally forming an unprecedented league of heroes. Now united, Batman, Wonder Woman, Aquaman, Cyborg and The Flash may be too late to save the planet from Steppenwolf, DeSaad and Darkseid and their dreadful intentions."

'Zack Snyder's Justice League' releases March 18, 2021 on HBO Max.
