LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: It's time to book tickets for the Zachery Levi-led movie 'Shazam! Fury Of The Gods'. The movie is all set to come out next month, March 17, and although some fans are ecstatic, some just don't want to be as disappointed. The second installment of the film once again revolves around the story of foster kid Billy Batson (Asher Angel), who gains the ability to transform into a superhero, played by Zachary Levi, every time he says the word 'Shazam'.

The first part, 'Shazam!', received praise from critics for being a lighthearted and fun story with a side of saving the world. So, with the second part, the expectations are much more. Although fans are excited, some DC and Marvel fans are hoping that the upcoming 'Shazam!' doesn't disappoint as 'Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania' did on Rotten Tomatoes.

'I’d forgotten this movie exists'

Twitter brings together fans after the poster release of 'Shazam! Fury Of The Gods'. While some aren't too happy, some just want to enjoy a good DC movie. "Once again I’d forgotten this movie exists", wrote a user. Another user wrote encouraging words, "Depressing that Black Adam flopped as hard as it did. Shazam is such a breath of fresh air in superhero films. It’s nice to see foster parents that are portrayed correctly, as loving and selfless individuals." Another user chimed in, "Looks awful sadly." "Sadly going to flop so bad... The trailers are boring af," a user expressed.

While some appreciated the artistic poster, "This and this poster are so far the best ones". "They really need to stop the trend of making the movie title smaller than the advertisements", with another user straight-up adding elements that made the poster bad.

When will 'Shazam! Fury of the Gods' release?

After being postponed several times, 'Shazam! Fury of the Gods' was all set to be released last year on December 21, 2022. But due to some mishaps, the release date is pushed to March 17, 2023. Originally, the movie was supposed to be out in April of last year, but the pandemic caused this sequel to be delayed to November 4, 2022, and then to June 2, 2023. But, the sequel will finally see the big screens next month. After the date changes,  Warner Bros Discovery CEO David Zaslav shared his take on the sequel, "We have seen The Flash, Black Adam, and Shazam 2. We are very excited about them. We’ve seen them. We think they are terrific, and we think we can make them even better.” per Collider. Hopefully, there will be no changes in the current schedule of the release. Take a look at the trailer before the movie hits your nearest theatres on March 17, 2023.
