Youtube shooting sparks reaction from prominent figures for gun law reform
Four people were gravely injured after a female shooter opened fire at Youtube's headquarters on Tuesday, before killing herself, according to law enforcement authorities in San Bruno, California.
Youtube employees claimed that they could see "blood drips on the floor and stairs" and had reportedly mistaken the stampede of people running out of the building for an "earthquake". Multiple patients had to be hospitalized following the shooting.
President Donald Trump thanked law enforcement officials and first responders to the scene. He said that he was briefed on the situation as soon as it ensued and noted: "Our thoughts and prayers are with everybody involved."
