Netflix's new reality series 'Young, Famous & African' will see Annie Macaulay-Idibia as one of the many celebrity stars. Annie is a Nigerian model, and actress by profession. Annie Macaulay-Idibia net worth

Today, Annie is one of the richest actresses, and according to Forbes & Business Insider, her net worth totals up to a whopping $1.5 Million. Annie is also a proud owner of a beauty salon in Atlanta called BeOlive Hair Studio. In addition, the businesswoman uses her humble background to push even harder in life, in every aspect. She adds, "I wasn’t raised with a silver spoon, but now, please let me brag a little - my name opens doors; you can’t talk about the entertainment industry in Nigeria without mentioning me. I’m a brand".

Annie's Instagram bio says “SuperMom”, and the title is something she describes as her “real-life role". To her, her family is her safe space, and being away from them was definitely the hardest part of competing on the show. Having said that, making sacrifices is all a part and parcel of a success story, and Annie is one of the many inspiring mothers all over the continent in today's day and age.

In Annie's opinion, her time on the show will have Nigeria put on the map. She adds, "Nigeria is vast and blessed with many talented people, so it’s a big deal they chose me over any other female celebrity in the country". Annie's main intention during her time on the show is to not just make a name for herself but to also bring Nigeria to the international stage.

'Young, Famous & African' premieres on March 18, 2022, on Netflix.
