NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former Vice President Mike Pence recently admitted on Megyn Kelly’s podcast that he did “miss” her at the GOP debates in Wisconsin and Simi Valley, California.

The 64-year-old appeared on ‘The Megyn Kelly Show’ to talk about President Joe Biden, and his ongoing presidential campaign while also addressing his loyalty to former POTUS Donald Trump.

However, when Kelly dived into the subject of recent GOP debates, Pence was quick to admit that he missed Kelly’s tough but fair questions at the debates and praised her for always allowing “people to answer questions”

The former Fox News host chuckled at Pence’s compliment and thanked him for his earnest remark.

Mike Pence wanted Megyn Kelly as moderator at GOP debates

Kelly addressed the big question head-on and asked Pence about his true feelings for the recently concluded GOP debates.

“What do you make of how the debates have gone thus far and Trump saying 'we should cancel the rest of them because I’ve clearly already got it'”.

Pence said that he “liked the first debate” in Wisconsin. “It had closing statements and it was a bit more orderly.”

When speaking about the second debate which took place in Simi Valley, California, Pence said, “I tried to be in the fight on the second one but above the fray but it just seemed to me...”

Pence leaned forward and admitted, “We missed you up there Megyn. You asked tough questions but you’re one of those people who lets people answer the question.”

Kelly instantly replied, “Aww! Thank you!” and Pence went on to explain why he was running for President in 2024.

“I’m running for President not because I want to know what it’s like to work in the West Wing Megyn...It’s because I truly do believe that having been a Vice President, having been a Governor of a successful state, having been a leader in Congress among conservatives and led the conference that I’m the most qualified and the most experienced..”

Pence then criticized the GOP debates for turning into a “shouting match” and called it a “disservice to the country.”

Internet doesn’t ‘trust’ Mike Pence to become president

After appearing on Kelly’s podcast, Pence received a battering from the people of the internet for being “untrustworthy” as a politician.

One user wrote, “Pence isn’t missed”, while second said, “Mike that’s not my concern" Pence has absolutely no chance of getting the nomination here in America. He should run for office in Ukraine!”

A third called him, “SNAKE IN THE GRASS!” while another echoed the same sentiment, "I don’t trust that guy”

A fifth called him a “liar” and wrote, “The devil is a LIAR, by PENCE”.
