'Yellowstone' Season 4 has consistently been built around the mystery of who ordered the hit on Dutton ranch with Episode 6 confirming it to be Jamie's (Wes Bentley) birth father Garrett Randall (Will Patton) who proudly admitted to it. Beth (Kelly Reilly) who is now the new Head of Operations for Market Equities has a plan for the betterment of the ranch her goal. Although she has a true motive achieving her goals won't be easy. The preview starts off as we see talks for appointing a new head of the governor's office being brought up to John (Kevin Costner). Viewers who have been speculating over this development may be proven right as the demand for a new generation will put two of the leads in running. Jamie who is an attorney has always had political aspirations so we know he'll be up for the opportunity, but then we also have the trustworthy and solid Kayce (Luke Grimes) who may be elected as well. It's a wild guess on which brother will come out on top but and quite an exciting premise. But we see John says there are other options and ask the woman in charge to choose one. Seems like the father favors one and with the recent atmosphere, it looks like it's Kayce.

We then see Beth who has now taken up the job of  Head of Operations for Market Equities directly working against what John stands for. Although the smart woman has everything thought of in advance, with this move also for the benefit of the ranch the seventh episode may see her make a hard choice and betray John, so as to show her commitment. As the stake gets higher her loyalty will be brought into question. We cut to her telling John that the ranch will be here in four years and what she wants to do takes strategy, risk, and sacrifice with her father looking stressed.

A chaotic montage shows Summer (Piper Perabo) with protesters, Garrett Randall, and a worried Jamie as boss-lady Beth declares that this is just the beginning.

‘Yellowstone’ Season 4 returns to Paramount with a new episode every Sunday at 8 pm EST.
