xQc opens up about ‘getting over’ Adept’s lawsuit against him: ‘Never thought I would be in that position’
AUSTIN, TEXAS: After xQc and ex-girlfriend Adept's very public breakup, there was a criminal inquiry due to charges of sexual assault and violence, which resulted in no convictions.
After leveling serious claims against Felix 'xQc' Lengyel, his ex-girlfriend, Adept, real name Samantha Lopez, filed the complaint. When all was said and done, the case was thrown out, and the verdict led to xQc being acquitted due to "no probable cause."
xQc talks about lawsuit filed by ex-partner Adept
xQc has opened up to viewers on stream a little over a month after the case was concluded to give some insight into how he has been faring since the hearings.
xQc admitted saying, “Getting over [the lawsuit] might never happen and I don’t care saying it. That’s the type of f**king wound that puts a scar that lives forever.” xQc said he never imagined he would have to defend himself in court against accusations of abuse and violence.
He said, “The things that were claimed and done against me in that one lawsuit are a f**king disaster, OK?”
He called the case an "absolute disaster" and said he never expected it would get to that. He remarked, “I had to quite literally do things that I thought I would only see in the movies, such as conducting a full interview with the police, having to go to court, and quite literally, [having to] fight for my life. Actually. Legitimately.”

xQc went on to say, “I never thought that I would ever be in that position for any reason and there I was. That’s not like, something that disappears, you know?”
xQc 'took accountability' for his actions
Discussing his situation with Adept, in August, xQc posted on X stating, "I took accountability for the wrongs I’ve done, unprompted, but the rumors flying around are all completely UNTRUE and NOTHING will validate them."
He continued, "I won’t let someone flail their arms around to cause damage out of desperation. Just remember the motives."
