Syfy’s supernatural Western horror series ‘Wynonna Earp’ narrates the story of the titular gunslinger who happens to be the great-great-granddaughter of Wyatt Earp. Her life’s mission has been to battle the revenants - the reincarnated outlaws that Wyatt killed – and other supernatural beings that plague the Ghost River Triangle, which is where her home town of Purgatory is situated.

Working with the secret government agency Black Badge Division (BBD), she has an ageless Doc Holliday, her sister Waverly Earp and Waverly’s girlfriend Sheriff Deputy Nicole Haught fighting by her side. While the first season’s focus was on Bobo Del Rey, the leader of the local revenants and taking him down, the second season showed a scarier man from Wyatt’s past who has been resurrected by his sister-wives.

Release date:

A release date is yet to be finalized for 'Wynonna Earp,' but on July 2, 2019 it was announced that production of the series would begin in late 2019.

Plot

‘Wynonna Earp’ showrunner Emily Andras revealed on Twitter, “🎶it’s beginning to look a lot like #WynonnaEarp season four is going to be full of fraught feels and frivolity”🎵” While we are struggling to understand exactly what that means, we do know that some of the major cliffhangers season 3 left us with, will be addressed in the upcoming season 4.

In season 3, we saw the Earp Curse has been finally broken and that Waverly is the new Guardian of the Gate, and has been dragged into the freaking Garden of Eden – yes, the Biblical one. Also, Purgatory is now empty except for Nedley, and one clue - the name "Valdez" that has been scratched into a wall. We will definitely explore what happened to everyone in Purgatory come season 4, and also we might hear about or see Wynonna and Doc's daughter.
