‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’ season 2 premiered on September 8 with three episodes, and as of September 22, the show has premiered a total of five episodes. The hip-hop-based show has so far intrigued the audience with its thrilling plot that is packed with not only the personal troubles of the Wu-Tang members but also displays the crime and drugs issue they faced at the time of their formation.

The Hulu original goes back and forth between New York City and Ohio. The show chronicles the life of the members of the Wu-Tang Clan during the height of the crack cocaine epidemic in the early 90s. The fictional drama series is the brainchild of RZA and Alex Tse. The series has been executively produced by the duo alongside Brian Grazer, Merrin Dungey, and Method Man. Wu-Tang members namely Ghostface Killah, Inspectah Deck, Masta Killa, and GZA serve as consulting producers along with Ol' Dirty Bastard aka ODB.

What happened in Season 2 Episode 5?

Episode 5 of ‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’ season 2 was titled ‘Visionz’, and going by the name, the makers did show the vision the clan had at the time of all the guys coming together. While the previous episodes focused on Bobby Diggs aka RZA (Ashton Sanders) trying his best to convince others to join the clan, the latest finally allowed the audience to enjoy their studio sessions. We also saw how Bobby Diggs along with Divine (Julian Elijah Martinez) met an attorney to make a contract for all the members. Despite a few arguments amongst the members, RZA made sure the contract kept all the squad members together.

The fans also got to see what they were missing in the previous episodes ie all the members hitting the studio to spit a few bars. However, in episode 5, we only saw Shotgun aka Method Man (Dave East) going inside the booth as he smokes a blunt before rapping a new verse. The show’s latest offering also shed light on how they were grappling with multiple issues like finances, album art, and studio’s electricity among others.

When will Season 2 Episode 6 air?

Episode 6 of season 2 of the hip-hop drama series will air next Wednesday, September 29. The sixth episode is titled ‘Protect Ya Neck’. Fans will be able to enjoy the upcoming episode on Hulu. While viewers were thoroughly entertained with the three premiering episodes of ‘Wu-Tang: An American Saga’, it looks like they are going to get only one episode next week.

What to expect from Season 2 Episode 6?

Since we saw the studio set up in the rented apartment of Dennis “D-Love” Coles (Siddiq Saunderson) in the last episode, season 2 episode 6 might see all the members of the Wu-Tang Clan recording their first official single. We can be a little sure about it as the title of episode 6 ‘Protect Ya Neck’ refers to the debut single of the clan that was released in 1992.

The song was featured on the group's debut studio album ‘Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers)’. The track was produced by RZA and featured eight of the original nine Wu-Tang members. The song has also been featured in video games namely True Crime: New York City and Skate 2. The track also made it to the final episode of the superhero series ‘The Defenders’ during a fight scene between all four Defenders and The Hand. Apart from recording their new single, we can expect the members to juggle their personal issues while focusing on their dream. Just like the previous ones, the next episode might again feature quarrels between the clan members, and RZA, like always, will try to sort it out by giving an emotional speech.
