A wrestler who also works as a caretaker has been locked up in jail after being accused of repeatedly raping a quadriplegic woman. The DNA of Scott Mathewson -- who wrestles under the name "Night Stalker" -- matched samples collected from the woman after he allegedly sexually assaulted her at his home, the Mirror reported.

According to the accuser, who cannot be named for legal reasons, she tried to fight Mathewson off but claimed he forcefully performed a sex act on her. During interrogation, she told detectives he raped her once again later the same day after she had had a bath. Nonetheless, Mathewson's expectant wife has maintained that her husband is innocent.

According to the report, the quadriplegic woman's legs and arms were paralyzed when she was 23, before she moved in with Mathewson, 47, and his wife April in Sanford, Florida. An investigation was launched after the alleged victim told a welfare officer Mathewson had raped her. Meanwhile, the professional wrestler maintained his innocence and denied forcing himself on her, claiming his DNA would not be found on her.

However, rape kit samples taken by a nurse from the woman told a different story. Earlier this week, Mathewson turned himself in to Seminole County Jail on accusations of sexual battery of a physically incapacitated person. That said, April claims the allegations are complete "bulls**t."

According to her, the alleged victim has repeatedly lied about her husband forcing himself on her. “She is not a victim of anything but herself," April told the Mirror. "She overdosed in 2001 which left her in a wheelchair because she will not put in the work it takes to get out of that wheelchair. In 2008 she was walking with help on bars and a brace. She wanted everyone to wait on her hand and foot so she quit working on getting out of that wheelchair."

She added: "Anyway, she started fights, starts drama everywhere she goes. No one is willing to put up with her drama... when I was called I said no but with her having no place to...We all agreed to help her. For her to turn around about a month or so later to say I beat her and Scott raped her."

The embattled wife added: “Very sad. Yet she claimed rape on at least two men other than Scott. It was reported that [she] can't stand, walk, and can't defend herself when its all a lie. I hope [you're] ready and when [it's] all said and done I hope you end up in jail. As she says she always gets what she wants, I don't think that's true this time.”

“No one will ever come between us," April wrote in another post. "We love each other no matter what. We will fight together as a team regardless of who or what we have.”
