The designers and owners of a controversial water slide that decapitated a 10-year-old boy in the US have had their murder charges dropped. The infamous 170-foot-tall Verruckt water slide at Kansas City’s Schlitterbahn Waterpark claimed the life of young Caleb Schwab after the raft he was on went airborne and his head fatally struck a pole instantly decapitating him, Independent reported.
After the distressing incident, state attorneys accused the operators and associates of the water park of recklessness and lined up a series of criminal charges against them. However, a judge presiding over the case dismissed the charges saying prosecutors had submitted "improper evidence" that was impertinent to the alleged crimes.
