In a case of quadruple homicide, a rural Oregon man killed four members of his family at the home they shared and was trying to kill an eight-year-old girl when he was shot and killed by deputies who responded to the residence.
According to a press release by the Clackamas County Sheriff's Office, deputies arrived at the residence of 42-year-old Mark Leo Gregory Gago at the 32000 block of S. Barlow Road, in unincorporated Woodburn, at approximately 10:15 pm on Saturday, January 19, on a homicide/domestic violence call.
On entering the home, they found Gago had already killed four people and was trying to kill a young girl, prompting them to use deadly force to save the child's life.
