What is the plot of 'Woman with the Red Lipstick'?
Anyone who recently watched the snoozefest 'Role Play' on Prime Video will probably get a sense of deja vu reading this. 'Woman with the Red Lipstick' revolves around Lucy and her boyfriend whose sex life seems to have stumbled upon a bit of a dry patch. Eager to spice things up and put the tiger back in the tank, the couple decides that a bit of role-play is the need of the hour. So they assume different identities and arrange to meet 'as strangers' in a hotel bar. All goes spankingly well until a few days later Lucy reads about a missing persons case that leaves her floored and more than a little shaken. The missing person has the same name Lucy used on her 'strangers in the night' date with her boyfriend. Coincidence? Or is there something more sinister afoot?
'Woman with the Red Lipstick' Main Cast
Rebecca Gibson
From producing to writing and acting, Rebecca has literally done it all in the industry. Rebecca has starred in a number of movies, but audiences will probably know her best as Wendy Ross in the series 'Burden of Truth'. Those who follow industry buzz, however, will know Rebecca as the driving force and creator of the hit series 'Taken' (no it has nothing to do with Liam Neeson) which is a true crime drama focusing on the missing and murdered indigenous women in Canada.
Marshall Williams
Yes, it's Spencer Porter from 'Glee'. After starring in 11 episodes on that hit show, Marshall went on to star opposite Liam Neeson in 'The Ice Road' before landing the role of Sam Tremblay in the series 'When Hope Calls'.
Is 'Woman with the Red Lipstick' worth watching?
If it's anything like 'Role Play' then no, but 'Woman with the Red Lipstick' promises a twist that the Prime Video's bomb didn't. But when it comes to a Sunday night movie you could do a lot worse.
