A Bristol woman who claims she had had sex with at least 20 ghosts says she’s now engaged to a poltergeist, and no, this is not an article from the Onion!

In December, Amethyst Realm (yes, that's her name) told British TV show 'ITV This Morning' (watch the interview below) that she cheated on her fiancé with a ghost, and has since gone on to have supernatural affairs with at least 20 paranormal beings. Well, it looks like after exploring multiple ethereal partners, Realm has finally settled for her "soulmate".

Realm said the ghost "asked her to get married" during a "vacation they took together" to celebrate their nine-month relationship at England’s Wookey Hole caves, according to The New York Post.

“There was no going down on one knee — he doesn’t have knees. But for the first time, I heard him speak,” she said. “I could actually hear his voice and it was beautiful. Deep, sexy and real.”

The 30-year-old said she met her ghostly match, who doesn’t have a name (but who Amethyst confirms is 'male'), during a work trip to Australia in February.

“I’d not had a phantom fling for a while and as I was away on business, starting a new relationship was the last thing on my mind,” the Bristol-based "spiritual counselor" revealed. “Then one day, while I was walking through the bush, enjoying nature, I suddenly felt this incredible energy. A new lover had arrived.”

Although she can't call her beau by name (and that's just one of many headscratchers in this relationship), Realm said her friends and family have surprisingly embraced her unusual engagement and now she is planning her big day as a “Pagan” ceremony.

It might be worth noting that there are no laws in the UK that allows a human to be married to a ghost and that might explain the pagan wedding.

“We haven’t discussed the details yet but I think it will be quite a big do,” she said.

Realm also revealed that her phantom partner and her are now part of the "mile high club" as the couple allegedly had sex on the plane back from Australia when they first met.

“I was happy and excited — so excited that we had to do something about it,” she said. “So we headed to the plane loo and, well, I am now a member of the Mile High Club.”

The bride-to-be added that this engagement is much more satisfying than her previous fiancé from the world of the living.

“Sometimes I get the feeling that I’m being moved,” she said. “Orgasms I have with my spirit lovers have been way more satisfying than any I’ve had with ordinary men.”

Amethyst says she now wants a baby with her spook hubby-to-be. She admits the idea “sounds crazy” but adds: “I looked into it and I don’t think it’s totally out of the question.”

Realm thinks some women are able to conceive with a ghost, but are not able to come to term with it as their bodies cannot cope with the paranormal.

She claims phantom pregnancies — where non-pregnant women suffer signs such as nausea and a swollen abdomen — are actually “ghost babies” trapped in living women.

“I’m sure there’s a way around that — I just haven’t worked it out yet,” she adds hopefully.
