An Arkansas court heard a woman reportedly "lost her mind" on spotting a porn channel on her satellite TV bill before shooting her husband dead.

Frank Hill, 65, was fatally wounded when police found him inside a shed at his residence in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, on July 28 last year. Now, widow Patricia Ann Hill, 69, has claimed innocence due to her mental state at the time of the incident, Independent reports.

Jurors heard that Hill spotted that a porn channel she had previously deleted from their subscription plan had been re-added to the bill, causing her to fly "into a rage." Hill then barged into her husband's shed, which he used as a man cave, and knocked over a table which held alcohol and cigarettes, per local newspaper the Pine Bluff Commercial.

While her husband bent down to pick up the objects strewn across the floor, Hill returned to the house to pick up a Beretta .22-caliber pistol, deputy prosecutor Holden Raines said. Upon returning, she shot him twice - in the leg and upper body. Hill then walked back into the house to call law enforcement as well as an ambulance.

Bill James, defending, told the court the couple were "basically estranged" but her husband's porn addiction was a "personal affront to her and to her god. She told him over and over again to stop, and he said he would but went right back to doing it."

Investigators later found a handgun in the couple's living room along with the aforementioned satellite TV bill. They also discovered a .22-caliber shell casing in the shed where Frank Hill's body was found.

According to James, Hill had "lost her mind" after Frank ignored her and continued to pay for the porn channel. Nonetheless, he said that defense would bring in doctors to testify as to her mental state at the time of the tragic incident.

Hill is currently being held in the W.C. 'Dub' Brassell Adult Detention Center.

The trial continues.
