Shocking video footage shows woman dragging husband's mistress across the street by her hair, as onlookers egg her on
A shocking video that was shot in China shows an enraged wife pulling her husband's mistress by the hair and dragging her on a busy street. Many onlookers gathered around the two women and watched as the wife could be heard shouting, "I've told you before. Leave our family alone!", before smacking the woman on the face. The video was shot by an onlooker in Hanzhong city in China.
The wife who wasn't wearing any footwear is seen asking the mistress, who was wearing high heels, to explain her actions as she dragged her across the street by her hair.
At a certain point, the wife managed to throw the woman onto the ground while the pedestrians were busy taking photos and videos of the altercation.
The husband can then be seen trying to stop the fight saying: "Don't hit her! It has nothing to do with her. Let go!"
A bystander, who was helping another onlooker pull the husband away, can be heard saying: "You're in the wrong here!"
The wife, who was being encouraged by a growing crowd, continued to hold the mistress' hair in a vice-like grip. The desperate young woman can be seen struggling to get out.
The video ends with the wife screaming at her husband: "Divorce me, then!"
This incident in China is the the latest in a series of hell-hath-no-fury-like-a-woman-scorned situations that have gripped the country in the recent past. Wives in China seem to be taking matters into their own hands and publicly humiliating their husband's mistresses.
In an earlier incident, a woman alleged that her husband had been cheating on her for three years and, hence, she decided to take matters in her own hands. She even called her husband while she was beating up the mistress asking him to come and watch it.
The incredible encounter happened on February 28 in the streets of Luannan County in northern China.
The extremely loud and intimidating wife was seen after she had already gone and beaten up the husband's mistress. She held her by the hair as the woman was sitting on the ground behind the car that the wife owns.
It's not clear how this woman spotted and caught the alleged mistress but she definitely did not show any mercy.
The woman is seen crossing one leg in front of the other and calling her husband on the phone saying: "Hubby, where are you?"
"Come here. I've caught her," she yells: "Hurry up!"
She tells her cheating husband, "I'm by the Jin Mao Tower," and then hangs up.
The woman then faces the crowd and starts slapping the woman before saying: "Tell everyone what you are. Tell them you're a mistress. Tell them!"
The other woman, while crying her eyes out, says: "I'm a mistress."
The wife then tells the crowd: "This is a mistress. She's a homewrecker. Three years she's been with my spouse."
The other woman is then seen in the video grabbing the wife's leg and begging her for mercy but the wife only ridicules her more. Onlookers can also be heard laughing in the background.
Adultery in China is not considered a punishable crime so many spouses who have been spurned end up taking matters into their own hands.
