‘We’re all going to die’: LA-bound American Airlines flight diverted as unruly flyer alarms passengers
MIAMI, FLORIDA: A female passenger on an American Airlines aircraft flying from Miami to Los Angeles was restrained and handcuffed after she reportedly approached co-passengers and screamed, "We're all going to die!” during the flight.
According to the airline, an "unruly customer" caused a disturbance on a flight from Miami on the morning of September 27, causing the plane to divert to El Paso in Texas where local police arrested the woman. A passenger on the airplane named Daniel Leon-Davis reported that the woman was apparently standing in the front aisle while screaming, "Repent! Redemption is coming," amid her death warning. After that, according to Leon-Davis, she allegedly tried to rush passengers before flight attendants could detain her and call the police. When police and firefighters arrived at the location to check the aircraft and give it the go-ahead to take off, the camera inside the plane camera captured the entire incident.

In the footage from LeonXDavis on Twitter, a flight attendant could be heard warning the passengers in Spanish that local police would enter the aircraft to remove the woman. According to Derek Walls, a spokesman for American Airlines, the aircraft departed from the Texas city and arrived in Los Angeles somewhere in the afternoon of that day.
This is the second incident the airline has faced in the span of two weeks. Earlier, a man named Alexander Tung Cuu Lee, 33 was arrested by the police for punching a flight attendant on September 21. In a shocking video, Lee attacked the unaware employee, coming up behind him and striking him in the face after he had been denied a cup of coffee. The issue occurred on Flight 377 from San Jose del Cabo to LAX when a passenger tried to move to a seat closer to the first-class section. After the plane landed stateside, the person was expelled from the aircraft. The Westminster resident and suspect, Lee, was held at the airport on suspicion of interfering with a flight crew. He reportedly intimidated the male attendant before the incident that was captured on camera and may spend up to 20 years in jail if proven guilty of the charge, a federal felony.
The individual has subsequently been permanently prohibited from traveling with American Airlines, according to a spokeswoman for the airline. “Acts of violence against our team members are not tolerated by American Airlines,” the spokesperson said in a statement reported by Daily Mail. “The individual involved in this incident will never be allowed to travel with us in the future, and we will work closely with law enforcement in their investigation,” they added.
