Will Trump be returning to the world of reality television and writing non-fiction books about how to win once he leaves office? In the backdrop of the current president's refusal to accept defeat in the 2020 presidential elections, Trump is being offered book and TV deals worth around $100 million as part of a "Plan B". The president is being "bombarded" with lucrative book and TV offers about his time in the White House. He is also receiving offers from far-right TV outlets.

The report, published by Page Six, quoted a source close to Trump saying, "Book and TV deals are Plan B if he doesn't win the vote war. Translate 70 million votes into viewers and record book sales. All the anti-Trump books have made big bucks, so this from the Donald is a surefire hit."

Former presidents securing big-figure book deals providing a behind-the-scenes look at their government is fairly common. For instance, Barack and Michelle Obama, reportedly, bagged a $65 million deal with Crown in 2017. Former President Obama's latest book, 'A Promised Land', will release next week.

The Page Six report also states that the $100 million deal "doesn't sound accurate" and no publishers have yet confirmed that they are in talks with Trump. According to the report, Simon & Schuster is "one publisher to watch" as they have worked with Trump in the past. Also, the top boss of Simon & Schuster has a known personal association with Trump.

About Simon & Schuster, the insider said, "They published Trump's last book. CEO Jonathan Karp published several of his books there, and at Random House, and went to Trump's wedding to Melania." Page Six also reported that David Drake, executive vice president and publisher of Crown, declined any comment on whether he would acquire a book by Trump while the executive vice president and publisher of Alfred A Knopf, Reagan Arthur, doubted she would sign up Trump.

Trump and Showbiz

Trump has long been associated with the world of showbiz and entertainment. Apart from hosting reality TV shows 'The Apprentice' and 'The Celebrity Apprentice' from 2004 to 2015, he also famously appeared in films 'Home Alone 2: Lost in New York', 'The Little Rascals', Whoopi Goldberg's 'Eddie' and 'The Associate', Woody Alen's 'Celebrity', 'Zoolander', 'Two Weeks Notice', and 'Wall Street: Money Never Sleeps'.

He's also made appearances on TV shows 'The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air', 'Spin City', 'Sex and the City', 'Days of Our Lives', and has made many appearances on WWE's 'Monday Night Raw'. He was also part of the WWE pay-per-view event 'Wrestlemania 23' in the famous 'Battle of the Billionaires' match.
