ASHBURN, VIRGINIA: 'Dance Moms: A New Era' is speculated to return for another dramatic season 2 with more stunning performances, fallout, and thrilling challenges. However, Hulu has yet to give a green light to season 2 of the Lifetime show spinoff. The debut season took around four months to wrap up filming, so viewers could expect the next installment no sooner than 2025.

'Dance Moms' reboot ended with a major nail-biting cliffhanger which put the viewers eagerly waiting for the next installment. Studio Bleu's team finally competed in the nationals after going through multiple chaos. However, the finale episode featured the most dramatic routine as coach Gloria Hampton challenged Ashlan to deliver the performance of her life.

Additionally, Gina Zhang and Audrey Brudner competed in the solo rematch which divided the dancers and their mothers into teams leaving everyone wondering who coach Glo will bring back next season. The upcoming season is also expected to be filmed in Coach Glo's new studio, 'Glo Time Dance', as she left Studio Bleu after wrapping up the premiere installment.

Coach Glo kicks off a competition between Gina Zhang and Audrey Brudner

In the 'Dance Moms: A New Era' Season 1 finale episode, coach Gloria Hampton sparked a competition between Audrey Brudner and newcomer Gina Zhang. How it ended here, you may ask? Well, Audrey, who has been the best dancer at Studio Bleu, injured her ankle jeopardizing her spot in the national competition. Coach Glo immediately brought in Gina while Audrey was taking time off to recover.

Coach Glo notably impressed with Gina's dance moves, called her "perfect" for the competition. Audrey, however, was afraid of losing her spot and insisted Coach Glo give her a chance to reclaim her position. Coach Glo agreed with Audrey and divided the group into two, with Audrey and Gina competing to lead the team. But only time can tell if Audrey can reclaim her spot.

Will Abby Lee Miller return in 'Dance Moms: A New Era' Season 2?

'Dance Moms: A New Era' star Gloria Hampton and former controversial coach Abby Lee Miller were good friends but the duo are currently not on good terms to film together. Additionally, Abby's controversial past led to cancel the original series and Hulu would not take a risk to bring her back.

Abby might not appear in season 2 but she had sent a congratulatory message to her longtime former friend Coach Glo. Additionally, Coach Glo has recently revealed that she had invited Abby to make a cameo in the debut season but she declined the offer.
