SEATTLE, WASHINGTON: In Season 4 of 'Love Is Blind,' Chelsea Griffin has already committed to marrying Kwame Appiah. Fans, however, believe that there are certain hints that Kwame is not yet ready to marry.

In Season 4 of 'Love Is Blind,' Kwame is preparing to marry Chelsea, but he has hinted that he could say no at the altar. 'Love Is Blind' Season 4, Episode 11, finished with Chelsea becoming the season's first cast member to say yes at the altar, while Kwame's reaction will be reserved for the season finale on April 14. However, it's unclear if Kwame will be able to respond to Chelsea's unequivocal yes, as he hasn't been as convinced as she has been. Chelsea was certain about Kwame from the start and never showed any doubts about her feelings for him. Given her deep affection for him, her confident yes at the altar came as no surprise.

Kwame and his icy response

On social media, Kwame isn't exactly popular among 'Love Is Blind' followers, who believe he's draped with red flags. The pair appeared to be as miserable as ever in this week's episodes. Fans initially see Kwame and Chelsea out shopping, where she is looking at clothes, and he is letting everyone know how bored he is. He also made a point of complaining to producers about how she acted when he asked her if she was okay earlier that morning. When Chelsea dares to tell Kwame that she's having a good time with him, he reacts with an icy chuckle.

Meanwhile, Chelsea appears willing to disregard Kwame's obvious suffering, just as she ignored his fear last week that having children would complicate things like traveling and vacationing. This week at the shop, Chelsea presses chocolate-coated strawberries on a visibly disgruntled Kwame and is irritated by his comment that an item she's trying on has a "tough look."

He tries to start a serious discourse about their difficult morning but is cut off by Chelsea's smile. Finally, he admits that he can still picture himself walking down the aisle and saying, "I do."

After an episode, Chelsea gets to fulfill a lifelong ambition while wearing the one thing she and her fiance appear to agree on: Calvin Klein knickers. In matching CK sets, they take part in a couple's boudoir picture session. Kwame is apprehensive at first, but towards the end, he's fully engaged. The encounter seemed to have solidified for him a reality about their connection. "There are moments that are tough… but the good has outweighed the bad substantially," he says.

At the same time, fans see Kwame's mother, whose disapproval of the engagement was shown earlier this season via a plainly re-enacted phone call, is still seemingly unhappy with this arrangement. Chelsea was naturally disappointed to learn this week that Kwame does not want her to adopt his name until they gain 'Mommy Dearest's consent. He chats to both of his siblings before the wedding, who push him to say "yes," but he still appears uneasy as the event approaches.

'Kwame looked so annoyed and unhappy'

Fans on Reddit speculate that Kwame doesn't like Chelsea, "He clearly doesn’t want to be in a relationship let alone get married. All he talks about is needing his space and his routine. Why did you even go on a marriage show if you’re so clearly put off by merging your life with someone. Also, can we talk about how he lives in Portland yet went on a Seattle-based show? Like, what was he expecting to happen if he met someone?" Another fan chimed in, "Him saying he felt suffocated by her, says it all! Also, his body language in the last episode (their wedding) speaks volumes." Seeing Kwame react in the latest episodes, fans write, "Kwame looked so annoyed and unhappy this entire set of episodes. His gem of a sister was so much more excited!" One person added how Chelsea is willingly ignoring the fact that Kwame doesn't like her, "He absolutely cannot stand her and she is willfully ignoring it. I said this elsewhere, but each time he calls her ‘dude’ or ‘buddy’ it seems like he is level 10 annoyed. Their scenes together are uncomfortable to watch."

Fans on Twitter also have a similar opinion as they feel, "I get so uncomfortable watching Kwame and Chelsea, because that man does NOT want to be there! Like damn, at least fake it for a while." Saying how Chelsea deserves better, a fan wrote, "Watching Kwame and Chelsea stresses me out bc that man’s energy is giving he would rather be anywhere else and my good sis either does not see it or is just ignoring TF out of it Pls girl, you deserve better than this.." While another person advised, "Chelsea has a vision for her life and is determined to make anyone fit. If it wasn’t Kwame, it would be some other guy she wouldn’t compromise her vision for. KWAME SUCKS but Chelsea needs to learn to listen n understand diff perspectives." While another viewer called Chelse blind, "Kwame speaks of Chelsea like shes an inconvenience. CHELSEA IS SO BLIND."
