LONDON, UNITED KINGDOM: ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ has officially dropped the first episode on MGM+ and the drama has begun. With a focus on Lord Frederick Trenchard and his wife Clara Dunn, the series is likely to revolve around their lives, and those close to them, not forgetting the several scandals that might come and go.

However, if you are already hooked on ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter,’ chances are you have watched the original series ‘Belgravia.’

Now, although the two aren’t necessarily connected, they are based in the same setting and world, however, the events of ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ take place nearly two decades later, which raises some questions about the characters of the first series.

Could John Bellasis appear in ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’?

As far as the network and ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter’ goes, there has been no news of any characters from the past making a comeback, as so far, in episode one, we have seen fresh new faces all across the episodes, with of course, the name of the Trenchard family being carried forward.

As for John Bellasis, this character made it to Vulture’s “Belgravia’s Best Schemers, Ranked” list, and was number 6 in position.

So throwing him into the mix with the new generation of Trenchards would cause more drama and scandal, especially in Frederick Trenchard’s life, who is already reliving some of his worst childhood memories.

At the moment, if there’s one person who is seemingly going through it, apart from Clara Dunn, it is Lord Frederick Trenchard himself. He believes his wife can help him overcome his past, but things could get much worse for him with the entry of his real father, John Bellasis.

It would be one of the many reasons that one particular character from ‘Belgravia’ makes an entry in ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter.’

However, as we mentioned before, nothing has been confirmed just yet. However, one thing is almost certain: even if John Bellasis doesn’t make a physical appearance in the series' upcoming episodes, his name is bound to lurk.

As for Frederick Trenchard and Clara Dunn, things are about to get much more complicated in ‘Belgravia: The Next Chapter,’ the first episode is now available to stream on MGM+.
