LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: With the sixth season of ABC's 'The Rookie' slated for release on February 20, fans are wondering if Jenna Dewan, who portrays Bailey Nune's real-life pregnancy will be part of the plotline. The answer is no.

The series, which is created by Alexi Hawley, has had a successful run for five seasons and is making a comeback with a new edition, which stars Richard T. Jones, Alyssa Diaz, Nathan Fillion, Mercedes Mason, and Melissa O'Neil.

Fans have been wondering if Dewan's actual pregnancy will be incorporated into the series plot since she announced her engagement to Steve Kazee at the beginning of this year.

However, showrunner Alexi Hawley has confirmed that Dewan's pregnancy will not be featured in the show.

In a recent interview with TV Line, Hawley stated that Dewan's pregnancy conflicts with the upcoming season's storyline, which will feature a conflict between John Nolan (Nathan Fillion) and Bailey Nune (Jenna Dewan) over their desire for children.
