Joe Biden became the 46th President of the United States of America after defeating Donald Trump by winning 284 electoral college votes. Now the US is all set to welcome the new president on the inauguration day, while some are still wondering if Trump will congratulate Biden, for his victory.

President Donald Trump along with First Lady Melania Trump left the White House for Florida shortly before President-elect Joe Biden's inauguration started on January 20, the two sources familiar with his plans told USA Today. Trump had already announced that he would skip Biden’s inauguration, breaking with more than a century of custom. This means Trump will also ditch the traditional helicopter lift from the US Capitol, a powerful moment of symbolism that emphasizes the peaceful transfer of power between two presidents.

But some social media users were wondering will Donald Trump will ever have the "courage" to congratulate President-elect Joe Biden. One Internet user tweeted: "Trump didn’t have the courage to congratulate Joe Biden." Another one tweeted, "Still claiming Trump won? With zero proof from anywhere? You know it makes you look incredibly stupid, with plenty of proof. Oh, grow up, congratulate President and Dr. Biden. The kiddos are gone."

Slamming President Trump, one Internet user said, "What a relief that Trump is no longer USA president. He never did think it was an honor just that he was entitled to it. Baby Trump will not congratulate Biden at the inaugeration like he should. He has never respected anyone apart from the guy he sees in the mirror." Another user called Trump the "king" and said: "King Trump would never congratulate anyone. Divide and conquer, that's what he has always been about but we are about togetherness. I'm sure Biden doesn't have all the answers. We are the ones that have the answers. Never underestimate anyone."

One person tweeted: "I’m watching the clock, Trump, and you have about 9 hours before you become a has-been. So, be a man and congratulate Mr. Biden on his victory. You lost. Biden won." While another one pointed out at the inauguration video posted by Trump, before he left the White House on January 20: "Just as the Biden family landed, the White House released a 20-minute farewell video from Trump-which did not mention his successor by name, or congratulate him on his victory."
