Yet another season of ‘Dancing With The Stars’ came to an end on Sunday, November 22, as ‘The Bachelorette’ star Kaitlyn Bristowe and her pro-dancer partner, Artem, were titled the winners of the Mirrorball trophy. There was a lot of uncertainty surrounding the final winner for Nev Schulman was leading too with the highest overall scores. While fans of respective celebrities were rooting for their favorite star to win, speculations were rife that Schulman would be the one to take home the coveted trophy. Kaitlyn’s win wouldn’t come across as a surprise as well, considering her back to back top scores in the past few episodes.

Yet, her victory is being debated over on the Internet as a significant number of them have expressed that there were other contestants who deserved to win the recent season, while some have pointed at her relationship with the network after gaining recognition from ‘The Bachelorette’. Meanwhile, some have dragged her for her relationship with Carrie Ann Inaba, which garnered a fair amount of attention throughout the season for it’s “drama”. This has also got fans wondering if it was the network that “rigged” the reality show to make it more “dramatic”. And, it is a known fact that Carrie and Kaitlyn’s behavior towards each other has been scrutinized a lot lately.

Soon after the winner was declared today, many of the viewers expressed on Twitter that they are considering to boycott the dancing reality show after all the criticism it was subjected to in the latest season.

One agitated Twitter user wrote, "everytime my fav’s get second i stop watching the show for a few seasons. after riker? stopped watching. after milo? stopped watching. now nev? 100000% will stop watching #DWTS" Another added, "Soo now that we know #DWTS is rigged... we all gon stop watching, right?"
