President Donald Trump kicked off his five-rally day in freezing Michigan on November 1 as he joked that people should wear face masks. "Today you should wear them anyway," he said. Daily Mail reported the weather was 41 degrees with an even colder wind chill of 26 degrees. Ivanka Trump introduced her father and compared him to Winston Churchill in her short remarks. "Winston Churchill said, 'It was the nation that had the lion's heart, I just had the luck to give it the roar’. How much does this remind you of our president and this movement? 'He gave us roar’," she said.

POTUS joked about the short introduction and referring to the cold weather, he said, "We had the luck of having Ivanka here and I'll tell you it's the shortest introduction she's ever given me and now I understand why." His jokes on the weather continued as he said, "It's freezing up here. I want to go back to Syria."

The president also made a stop at Iowa. He said, "It's lucky you have a president that doesn't need a teleprompter because these things are useless." He took a dig at Democratic presidential nominee Joe Biden by saying he wouldn't be able to speak under such circumstances, according to a report by Daily Mail. Trump said, "That wind, I don't know about you, but that wind is hitting me hard." He addressed Ivanka and said, "My poor daughter is standing there freezing." Trump added, "Sleepy Joe would be lost." He then called Ivanka, his former press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders and adviser Hope Hicks to the stage to address the crowd.

During one of his rallies in Florida, the crowd started chanting “Fire Fauci”. To which, Trump said, “Don’t tell anybody, but let me wait ‘til a little bit after the election.” But later, Trump said Fauci is "a nice guy but he's been wrong a lot", as reported by CNN

This video clip was shared by Philip Lewis, front page editor of HuffPost. He tweeted: “A 'Fire Fauci' chant just erupted at Trump’s rally in Florida. 'Don't tell anybody, but let me wait until a little bit after the election,” Trump said in response.” Soon, Twitter weighed in on the matter.

One user said, "The Trump supporters who say fire Fauci should be ashamed of themselves. All Fauci ever did was try to save lives. Trump is a super spreader and has let Americans down. How many have died under Trump’s watch." Another said, "What has he been wrong on? trump has done NOTHING to control this pandemic. In fact, he's holding multiple superspreader rallies right now. I bet Fauci just wants to smack him upside the head. Or maybe that's just me." A user opined, “Doctor Fauci should resign today and publicly endorse Joe Biden. The Trump administration doesn't respect him and neither do the Magangsters."

A user tweeted, "After the whole 'Fire Fauci' incident at Trumps rally today, Fauci really needs to come out and endorse Biden for the last day of voting. I know he doesn’t like being political but I think this is the time he should be especially if the president is thinking of firing him already." Another said, "Trump threatens to fire Fauci! What a fool he is!  He ought to fire himself. Hopefully, the voters will do that." One stated, "Trump needs to be fired, not Fauci. Or fire Fauci and unmuzzle him so we can hear the real truth about you. I can't imagine working for you, and hearing you at a public event saying you're going to fire me one day, to please the audience. What a tiny little man you are.”

Recently, in an interview with The Washington Post, Fauci said the United States needed to make an “abrupt change” in public health practices and behaviors. He said the White House coronavirus task force meets less frequently and has far less power as the president and his top advisers have focused on reopening the country. "Right now, the public health aspect of the task force has diminished greatly," he said. He also shared that he and Deborah Birx, coronavirus task force coordinator, no longer have regular access to the president and he has not spoken to Trump since early October. "The last time I spoke to the president was not about any policy; it was when he was recovering in Walter Reed, he called me up," he said.

Fauci also commented on Scott Atlas, a neuroradiologist and Trump’s favored pandemic adviser. He said, "I have real problems with that guy. He’s a smart guy who’s talking about things that I believe he doesn’t have any real insight or knowledge or experience in. He keeps talking about things that when you dissect it out and parse it out, it doesn’t make any sense."

White House spokesman Judd Deere criticized Fauci for his comments in a statement to The Washington Post. Deere said, "It’s unacceptable and breaking with all norms for Dr Fauci, a senior member of the President’s Coronavirus Task Force and someone who has praised President Trump’s actions throughout this pandemic, to choose three days before an election to play politics."
