LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: In the third part of the Blind Auditions in the highly anticipated 25th season of the beloved singing competition show, 'The Voice,' the incredibly talented Mecca Notes took to the stage to perform a breathtaking rendition of Stevie Wonder's iconic hit, 'Master Blaster (Jammin').'

Despite receiving high praise from celebrity judges Dan + Shay, who were left in awe of the sheer power in his voice, they ultimately decided not to turn their chairs around. It wasn't a lack of appreciation for his talent; rather, they were eagerly anticipating a specific element that would truly captivate their attention.

Meanwhile, John Legend couldn't help but acknowledge the electrifying energy emanating from Mecca's voice. However, he did point out some minor control issues, suggesting that with a bit more refinement, his performance could reach an even higher level of polish.

Unfortunately, with none of the judges turning their chairs, Mecca would need to try his luck again in a future season if he aspires to grace the stage of 'The Voice' and share his incredible talent with the world.

In a heartfelt post on his gratitude-filled Instagram account, Mecca Notes reflected on a profound realization that has significantly impacted his life - the undeniable significance of being present and showing up in every aspect of life.

"It’s not a throwback Thursday, but today I wanted to share the beginning of my 30 days of gratitude. This guy here is my grandfather, James Watson Sr. Due to my paternal family living in Nigeria and my maternal grandmother passing away a year before I was born… he’s the only grandparent I ever knew," he started by writing.

Notes further added, "Even though I’ve always been inquisitive and known for my “reporter questions,” I never really went too in-depth with grandpa. However, one of the biggest things he taught me subtly is that presence matters."

He continued, "Showing up, being there… even if no words are exchanged MATTERS… to those you support and love. I am reminded daily that just my presence alone makes a huge impact in ways I don’t realize. Thank you, Big Jim. I am forever grateful for you. I’ll love you always. - Your spoiled grandson."

'The Voice' Season 25 airs on NBC at 8 pm on Mondays and Tuesdays. The episodes will be available on Peacock on demand the next day. The streaming site also includes entire episodes from the show's prior seasons.
