LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: 'The Boys' has set a high bar for sex and violence in television, yet the Amazon Prime Video series continues to up the ante with each new episode, and Season 4 Episode 2, titled ‘Life Among the Septics,’ is no exception.

The episode shows Butcher (Karl Urban), Mother’s Milk(Laz Alonso), and the Boys tailing Sister Sage(Susan Heyward), the newest addition to 'The Seven', to a conspiracy theorist convention called TruthCon.

There, we meet Firecracker (Valorie Curry), a right-wing podcaster, and Supe whose limited powers are supported by her extreme personality. But the episode also introduces us to a Firecracker fanboy named Splinter who can clone himself.

Rob Benedict's appearance as a guest star in 'The Boys' adds a memorable touch to the series, despite the short duration of his role as a new superhero.

At TruthCon, Frenchie (Tomer Capone) and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) follow Splinter to see what trouble he’s causing after sneaking away during Firecracker’s speech. But nothing could prepare 'The Boys' viewers for what they discover.

In a sauna, Frenchie and Kimiko found Splinter engaged in a bizarre ritual with naked clones, all fixated on a picture of Firecracker.

The explicit scene is filled with grunts, moans, and slurping sounds that emphasize its shocking nature, despite Splinter's attempt to explain, “This isn’t what it looks like!”

Later, Splinter's bizarre behavior led to a disastrous outcome when his clones developed pink eye just before a crucial fight. The intense scene left fans deeply disturbed, as seen in their reactions on social media.

Many shocked fans took to social media to share their thoughts on the sauna scene, with one saying, "That sauna scene almost made me throw up." Another wrote, "Genuinely might never go in a sauna again without suffering PTSD."

One fan asked, "The sauna scene,?????? who thinks of this stuff?" Another traumatized fan said, "Jesus Christ, I thought the orgy scene last season from the Boys was something else...then here they come with a sauna scene this season that will never let me look at one the same."

One fan said, "Lmfao woahh wasnt expecting the 8 man a*s eating human centipede scene in the boys." Another fan wrote, "The boys can show me all the human centipede-esque a*s eating they want but it will never have the shock value as ant man urethral sounding explosions. and yes that IS a sentence that makes perfect sense.

One fan wrote, "How am I supposed to look Rob Benedict in the eye when ive just seen 8 of him eating out his own a*s?"

Rob Benedict himself shared a post on X with the caption, "Already seeing some early reactions to #Splinter! Told ya! Can’t wait to share of the behind the scenes stories. Needless to say - there were a lot of acting “firsts”. Shout out to @therealKripke and the entire stunt and EFX team. Whata ride."

His wife, actress Ruth Connell also praised his performance and commitment to the role saying, "Couldn’t be prouder of @RobBenedict and his utter commitment to his roles No I haven’t seen it but I lived through it!"
