IDAHO COUNTY, IDAHO: As "doomsday cult mom" Lori Vallow is found guilty on all charges, it's not yet over for Joshua 'JJ' Vallow's grandparents. Even though Kay and Larry Woodcock rejoiced with the decision, they will keep asking "Why Lori, why?" until she is sentenced in three months.

Two counts of first-degree murder and three counts of conspiracy were brought against Vallow Daybell in connection with the 2019 murders of her children, seven-year-old Joshua "JJ" Vallow and 17-year-old Tylee Ryan, as well as Tammy Daybell, her husband Chad Daybell's first wife.

'I hope nobody ever has to go through this'

"For one time in my life, I'm kind of lost for words," Larry said at Friday's emotionally charged press conference, reported CBS News. Elated by the verdict, Woodcock said, "I want to thank 18 jurors. I cannot thank them enough," Larry said. "I want to personally thank and I want to personally hug every one of those jurors. What they went through and what they saw is mind-boggling. I hope nobody ever has to go through this. I hope no one has to hear the details of what happened to JJ, Tylee, and Tammy."

'Turn out the lights, the party’s over'

When he was asked if he had any parting words for Lori, Woodcock responded, "My final message for Lori," before breaking into the song "The party's over"—a song he and JJ used to perform together. “Turn out the lights, the party’s over. They say that all good things must end," he sang saying, "Lori it ended."

Back in September 2019, when the mother-of-three moved them from Arizona to Rexburg, Idaho, they were unable to contact their grandson, following which Larry and Kay first expressed concern for JJ and Tylee and then called authorities in November of 2019 asking for a welfare check.

'Our JJ, maybe we can put him to rest as well as Tylee'

"We are elated with this, there was some doubt that we'd get all 'guilty,' but we did it," Kay told the reporters. She added, "Our JJ, maybe we can put him to rest as well as Tylee," she added while thanking authorities, journalists, and everyone who followed the case closely.

Woodcock once again spoke, "JJ, I love you. Papa wishes you were here in other circumstances. Tylee, Papa loves you. Tammy, I never met you. You are a part of our life. Tammy, I am sorry what happened to you. Our heart hurts. Our heart hurts for these three." Larry continued, "It started with two children missing and I stood up and said, 'Where are the children? Where are the children? Where are the children? Give us back our children."

Larry continued, "This isn't the end," alluding to the impending trials for Chad and Lori, who is charged in Arizona with killing her fourth husband, Charles Vallow. "We'll be in Fremont County 90 days from now. And I'll ask "Why Lori ?" Why?'" Larry added, "JJ, papa misses you. "I really miss you."
